For my technical and communications writing, please go here. For my professional arts and culture, political and food writing, continue on…
Hi, My Name is Lizzy and I’m a writer
I’ve always been a writer in one form or another. However, in 2006, I decided to quit my fancy government job and started writing again. The funny thing is, people started hiring me for it. Who knew? I’ve written for a whole slew of publications including the Pulitzer winning Willamette Week newspaper, Portland Monthly, Edible Portland, Portland Spaces, NW Palate and pretty much anything else with Portland in the title. I also write for Interval U.K., an international lifestyle resort publication and for a whole bunch of websites and professional journals. I’m pretty versatile, but have a specialties in urban planning, politics, arts and culture, and food and beverage writing. I really love writing about food.
Outside of additional technical and professional communications writing, I’m also an experienced ghost writer. Being a ghost writer isn’t as spooky or as other worldly as it sounds. Contact me and I’ll tell you more.
